We begin our week in solidarity and in prayer for our brothers and sisters affected by Friday’s horrific act of hatred towards humanity.  Whilst our routines remain the same, we plan for Manaaki and assembly times to be prayerful expressions of awhi and aroha. We are also planning a Mission Action project so we can physically do something by way of acknowledgement and support.

Tragedy and trauma affects everyone differently and vulnerability is expressed in a variety of ways.  Please find this helpful resource, published by The Parenting Place, should you be seeking assistance with how to talk to your child with useful age-specific tips.

Helpful resource.

I look forward to welcoming everyone to school tomorrow, turning our energies to love, manaaki and mission action.  This is who we are.
