Dates for your diary
Monday December 1 – NCEA Accord Teacher Only Day – please note there is no school for students on this day
Tuesday December 2 – Orientation Afternoon – starts 1.00pm, for new students and whanau starting in 2026. This is a normal school day for current students.
Wednesday December 10 – Our last day of school – Junior Prizegiving starts 9.30am. All are warmly invited. Students can leave with their parents at the conclusion of prizegiving. Alternatively, please arrange for students to be collected at 11.30am.
2026 – January 28 – Special welcome Mass at St Joseph’s Church at 4.30pm for all new students and whanau. Elizabeth House hostel will be open for all boarders following Mass.
January 27 – Some senior students maybe required for course confirmation and leadership training.
January 29 – First full school day for all students starting with a pōwhiri at 8.40am.

At Sacred Heart Girls’ College, New Plymouth, Manawa Tapu, we Live the Mission gifted to us by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions through Ako, Manaakitanga and Wāhine Toa. Since the college was established, its motto “Age Quod Agis” (whatever you do, do to the best of your ability), has been one that we are proud to live by.
