19 Feb Grease Production Auditions 2017
Friday lunchtime 17th in the EC for Years 8 – 13 to learn routine.
Monday 20th lunchtime in the PAC for year 7 to learn routine.
Auditions will start Tuesday 21st lunch time.
Below is some more information on Auditions for the production.
The pupils will be either involved as a principal role (auditioned in week 5, Tues 28th Feb and Thurs 2nd March 3.30 – 5), a member of the dance troupe (auditioned in week 4 during lunch times, routine taught Friday 17th Feb in E.C) or a member of the chorus (non auditioned). All those interested in being in the cast will be expected to attend an initial sing through on Tuesday 21st February.
As in previous years, whole cast rehearsals will be on Tuesdays after school (3.30 – 5). Principal rehearsals will be on Thursdays after school (3.30 – 5). Dancers will work with Raeleen Luckin on the Tuesday and may also be called for extra sessions during lunch times.
The dates for the performances will be week 6 of term 3 (Tuesday 29th August – Saturday 2 September). Your son/daughter will also be needed for the 6 Sundays leading into show week (23rd July, 30th July, 6th, 13th, 20th, 26th Aug. Please ensure that this is a manageable commitment as attendance on the Tuesday and Sunday rehearsals will be essential. We will require prior notice, in writing, if this is not possible.
There will also be opportunities for pupils to assist with backstage, including stage management, lighting, costuming, hair and makeup.
